THE PRINTER
The Printer holds the middle between a sculpture and a performance. The work exists out of a printer standing on a high pedestal and printing out plain pages. One by one, the pages fall down and spread out on the floor. Altogether, the pages that are printed out have the exact same surface area as the exhibition space in which the performance is shown (in this case at Kunstliefde, Utrecht). The printer prints out a completely plain floorplan of the exhibition space on a 1 to 1 scale.
THE READER
The Reader can be seen as a kind of mirroring performance of The Printer. The performance exists out of someone reading a book, and tearing out the pages after reading them.
