In the series Folding, turning, rustling I explore the physical, almost tactile, aspects of books and reading: on the one hand, the physical object itself — holding it, turning the pages, etc. — and on the other hand, the physical sensations that come with reading the story — a shiver running down your spine, or almost being able to feel the raindrops on your face.
In addition, the works in this series — especially in their folds, shapes, and materiality — also explore the similarities between textiles and paper, in terms of tactility and material.
