35 x 45 cm Drawing on Cixous’s notion of written text as a “passageway between two shores,” this series treats language as a threshold, inviting the viewer to step through.
The recurring rectangular shape in the background evokes the image of a door opening or the turning of a book’s page, while the texts each point to a different place, a different ’shore’, that the reader might arrive at.
